Lent, Day 7: Hydration and Food

Okay…first Eating Day after that big loss, and I’m being good.  I made it a point to eat a fairly solid breakfast and a big salad for lunch.   I’m drinking lots of water, so hopefully — hopefully — if I have set off any warning bells in my metabolism, I can quiet them before any real damage has been done. 😉

And really, it’s not that I STARVED myself last week.  I honestly haven’t kept a good accurate food journal in a long time now (which is something I should probably get back to at some point here), so I honestly don’t know WHAT I ate.  I just know that my stomach was in knots for most of the week and even on my Up Days, nothing really looked all that appetizing.

Hopefully I didn’t screw things up.  But I figure as long as I brace myself for the possibility of either not losing or — God forbid — gaining a pound or two back, I think I’ll be fine.

I’m still walking every day, by the way.  I know I haven’t really mentioned the treadmill much lately, but I’ve actually now gotten to the point where I am walking 2.5 mph again (I had dropped to 2.0 for awhile there) and I’m up to a 7% incline.   There’ve been one or two days of late that I’ve not walked due to time constraints, but mostly I’m still averaging about 120 minutes a day, give or take.

I’m still looking for a good way to exercise my arms.  Hrm…
